What We Do
We actively work to acknowledge and repair harms caused by colonization and other systems of domination — and to build new relationships with land and people rooted in reciprocity and mutual care. We do this by:
supporting Indigenous sovereignty and returning land to the care of the Original Peoples;
following the guidance of Indigenous leaders in our collaborative work and show up, as we are able, when those leaders call for solidarity and support;
redistributing wealth, accumulated directly or indirectly, from privilege and power gained from colonization and genocidal policies, to Indigenous-led organizations;
honoring our interdependent relationship with land and stepping into our responsibility to land, defending and healing the land from extraction and exploitation;
working to dismantle laws and policies that uphold systems of inequality that facilitate exploitation of land;
cultivating healing and responsibility in the settler community by addressing the internal patterns and wounds formed through histories of colonization.
