PARTNERSHIPS

We partner with Indigenous-led groups rematriating land, language, and lifeways disrupted by settler colonization, land theft and removal, white and Christian supremacy, boarding schools and other assimilation policies. These partnerships are rooted in relationships built on reciprocity and mutual trust, not charity.  Partnership includes providing time, labor, materials, financial resources, and networks to support specific projects with clear outcomes for Indigenous community members.

Diné Survival School

The school is a Diné-led intergenerational gathering that has been teaching and sharing cultural skills for 30 years. It’s necessary because of the cultural trauma inflicted by the US boarding school system and the relocation that was imposed by Peabody Coal. Plans are underway for a Survival School gathering in late November. All contributions received between now and Thanksgiving will be matched by an anonymous donor.
